Give Hope

John 3:16 "For God so loved the world that He gave..."
Last year we launched GIVE HOPE in all 18 of our stores. GIVE HOPE is our concerted effort to give back the communities in which the LORD has placed us, using both our time and resources to do all we can tangibly do to spread Jesus’ message of hope. Each of our 18 stores has chosen a ministry that the Lord has placed in their hearts. If you walk into a Berean store, you will see signs that share that store’s specific ministry. You can find donation boxes and other methods of giving when you check out. And as the year progresses, we are offering other tangible ways to partner with us as we carry-out “ministry drives” at each store whether for canned food, blankets, coats, school supplies or diapers, we want to help. Here and on each store’s page, we list prayer requests and urgent needs that our ministries might have. Thank you for being our partner’s in GIVE HOPE. Mark 12: 30 & 31
“Love the Lord your God with all your heart, all your soul, all your mind, and all your strength.' The second command is this: 'Love your neighbor as you love yourself.' There are no commands more important than these." We don’t take this lightly. Never before has there been such diverse and desperate need across this country. The ministries represented here range from feeding and educating homeless, giving shelter to unwed mothers and even supporting a home for girls who have been sexually exploited. The need is great. Some of the very people that utilize these ministries are our neighbors and friends, even our own families. Our heart breaks for the needs represented – yet we rejoice in the fact that we can make a difference. Matthew 25:35-40
“For I was hungry, and you fed me. I was thirsty, and you gave me a drink. I was a stranger, and you invited me into your home. I was naked, and you gave me clothing. I was sick, and you cared for me. I was in prison, and you visited me.' "Then these righteous ones will reply, 'Lord, when did we ever see you hungry and feed you? Or thirsty and give you something to drink? Or a stranger and show you hospitality? Or naked and give you clothing? When did we ever see you sick or in prison, and visit you?' And the King will tell them, 'I assure you, when you did it to one of the least of these my brothers and sisters, you were doing it to me!'” Check back often for updates and prayer needs. “For God so loved the world that He gave his only son” – Jesus.
