The LFT Church Choir presents "Love is Live", a fundamentally traditional Gospel album with strong contemporary influences. LFT is built upon a solid Gospel bedrock with the unmistakable modern touch of the choir's mentor, Hezekiah Walker.

LFT is the acronym for Love Fellowship Tabernacle, the church Hezekiah Walker founded in 1994 when he felt a divine calling toward the pastorate. Hezekiah recalls, "The church started small...less than 50 people, right here in Brooklyn, New York, where I grew up. As far as music went, we just had a small praise and worship team led by Joeworn, our musical director. But after about a year, so many good singers had started attending our church, Joeworn approached me with the strong conviction that it was time to form a choir of our own".

So, in 1995 Joeworn assembled what has grown into the now 60-voice LFT Church Choir. Since then they have established a sound, and a purpose, unique and singularly their own. Under Joeworn's sturdy and sure leadership, LFT is the Tabernacle's church choir, and as Hez is quick to emphasize they are dramatically and dynamically doing their own thing.
