The consistent format of the books helps facilitate independent work. Explode The Code Book 6 1/2 reinforces r-controlled vowels, silent letters (-igh), and vowel diphthongs learned in Book 6. Students practice blending sounds to read and write multi-syllabic words. In addition, several review lessons are included. Grades 2-4.
