Eicher, Jerry S.
Jerry Eicher and his wife Tina live in Virginia with their four children. His writings come from an Anabaptist perspective, with its years of devotion to the concept of the Body of Christ and a dedication to the integrity of Scripture.Jerry spent eight years as a child in Central America where his grandfather helped found a Honduras Amish community outreach, taught for two terms in parochial Amish and Mennonite schools in Ohio and Illinois, reached out to street youth through several summers of street preaching and witnessing, and has preached open air on college campus. He has been involved in church renewal for some fourteen years, and has preached in churches and conducted weekend meetings of in-depth Bible teaching. He was ordained as a minister in 1997.Jerry had his first article published in the fifth or sixth grade through a writing contest in the Young Companion, published by Pathway Publishers. He served as the editor of The Truth Triumphant that was published for several years by Crossroads Publications, and is the webmaster of "Gospel On The Web", an Anabaptist web outreach that highlights articles, books, and missions.Jerry supports his family as the owner of a residential home construction company in Virginia.
